After struggling several nights on the island I began to adore the wildlife surrounding me. There was pleanty of food to help me survive at least 2 months. Hopefully the food isnt needed and I will be rescued sometime soon. I began to become familiar with the trees and rocks so I wouldnt loose my campsite. One day I was collecting more leaves and branches for my bed on the hillside. As i looked into the distance I saw a black spec in the ocean. Once the spec came closer I realized it was a boat. "I'm going to be rescued!" I thought. To catch the boats attention I used my last emergency flare. The boat began to sail torward me. I never felt so secure and revealed in my life. The thought of meeting my family again and coming home made me smile.

Conflict
These past few days surviving on the island have been hectic. My only jacket that could help me support these stormy nights had a rip. The fact that I have not been rescued yet, made me realize how long important items could last. The fruits that I have collected the previous day are running out . To prevent starvation I am planning on searching for more fruits this evening. After finding a rip in my only jacket the day began to get worse. My sandals were breaking apart after walking with them on the hard rocky ground. To prevent any blisters I am planning on making a pair of shoes with leaves. Life on the island makes me lonely and tired because I was not read for this unexpected tragedy. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day and I will find more food that can last a long period of time.
